About our Sioux City concrete company
We pour driveways, patios, walks and foundations in Sioux City and the cities around it. Every job starts underneath, with the base, the forms and the timing that decide how the slab holds up.

Who's pouring your slab
I got into this pouring patios and sidewalks for neighbors on weekends, and word got around faster than I could keep up with it. Advanced Sioux City Concrete has been a business since 2021. I learned the trade on those early jobs, mostly by doing things right the second time, which concrete is always happy to teach you.
We're a concrete contractor based in Sioux City, IA, and we work across the cities around it, including Sergeant Bluff and Le Mars on the Iowa side, South Sioux City, NE and Vermillion, SD. Most calls come from homeowners, with some small business owners and builders mixed in. We're best known for flatwork, the driveways, patios and walks at ground level, and for getting them to sit flat and look clean.
I'd rather tell you a job is smaller than you thought than sell you more concrete than you need. Plenty of calls about a "ruined" driveway turn out to be one sunken section and a bad joint. Concrete likes a little drama. I'll tell you which one you've got before anything gets written up.

How we handle every job
- The same person, estimate to pour. I measure your job myself and run the crew on site the day we pour, so what we talked about is what you get.
- Ground and forms before the truck. The subgrade, the ground the slab sits on, is hidden once it's poured, so we put our time there and into the forms before any truck shows up.
- Pour dates move for a freeze. We'd rather move a pour date than pour with a hard freeze coming, because a freeze during curing, the days it spends hardening, leaves a weak slab.
- We pull permits and book inspections. We check with the city or county office where your job is, pull any permit it needs and book the inspections, so you're not guessing who to call.
- Licensed, insured and guaranteed. We're fully licensed and insured, and every job we pour is backed by our satisfaction guarantee.
The concrete work we do
- Concrete driveway building Worth replacing once the old driveway has sunk, cracked through or pools water by the garage. We dig out and pack the base, not just rake it.
- Concrete patio construction A backyard slab pitched away from the house so rain runs off, not toward your foundation. Most get a broom finish, a brushed texture that grips when wet.
- Stamped concrete services For a patio or walk that looks like stone, brick or slate, we press patterns and color into the concrete while it's still soft.
- Concrete sidewalk building Replacing walks and paths that have heaved or chipped into a trip hazard. We cut control joints, shallow grooves that give cracks a planned place to run.
- Garage floor concrete A new garage slab when the old one is cracked, heaved or sloped so water sits instead of running out the door.
- Decorative concrete Color, stain and decorative borders for homeowners who want more than plain gray. It costs more than a broom finish, so we'll talk through where it's worth it.
- Concrete retaining walls Poured walls for a yard that's washing out or a slope that needs holding back, with drainage behind so water doesn't build up against them.
- Concrete floor installation Interior floors for basements, shops and outbuildings, poured flat and level so shelving, equipment or finished flooring sits right on top.
- Concrete pool decks The slab around an in-ground pool, finished so it's not slick underfoot and pitched so splash water drains away instead of back into it.
- Concrete steps construction Front and back steps rebuilt when they've cracked, pulled away from the house or gone uneven, with every step the same height so they're easy to climb.
- Slab foundation building The slab a garage, addition or new house sits on. We pack the base and tie in rebar, steel bars that keep cracks from opening up.
- Foundation installation Poured foundation walls for new homes, additions and garages, set square and level so the framing on top starts out true.
- Concrete parking lot building Parking areas and drive lanes for small businesses, poured thicker than a home driveway and graded so rain runs off instead of sitting in low spots.
- Concrete footings The concrete under decks, porches, additions and walls that carries the weight down to solid ground. When a deck post sinks, a small or shallow footing is usually why.
- Foundation raising When a slab or foundation has dropped and left gaps or sloped floors, we look at lifting it back toward level before talking about tearing it out.
- Concrete cutting Saw cuts for utility trenches, door openings and cracked sections that can come out and be replaced without tearing out the whole slab.
